Robert Burgeis

Robert Burgeis is one of Nashville’s few piano playing, guitar picking artists who is also a seasoned songwriter and producer. With his diverse talent and love for country music, he has been dubbed as ‘The Rednek RokStar’. Burgeis’s smooth voice, peppered with just enough twang and partnered with his masterful yet edgy guitar playing and tantalizing ivory tinkling, is what makes this ‘country-rocker’ one of the finest entertainers of his day.

Songwriters Round featuring Marilyn Harris & Friends

Marilyn has been a songwriter for many years and performs her original songs at venues in the surrounding areas as well as here at the Smoke House.  Americana would best describe her writing style.

Flat River Band

Andy, Dennijo, and Chad Sitze are three brothers that are the Flat River Band. They grew up playing music with their grandparents and parents, and have performed at venues all across the U.S. If the group “Alabama” grew up in the same house as the “Bee Gees” and they got together with the “Marshal Tucker Band” you have experienced the Flat River Band.

Dave Pahanish has managed to come virtually out of nowhere to become an increasingly in-demand writer for the top stars of country music. After scoring cuts on Jimmy Wayne’s ” Do You Believe Me Now” album, Dave and his production co-writer Joe West scored the title track to Toby Keith’s American Ride album. Runaway Home

runawayhome_2016 The band, Runaway Home, is a “homecoming” of sorts. It was founded by three powerhouse singers looking for a road back to the music they grew up on and loved! Their sound is strong three part harmony over lyrics that matter, wrapped in an acoustic style reminiscent of ‘70’s era radio. You might call them Retro-Commercial-Americana.

Jason Link

Link is a country singer simply by the twang in his voice and the way he was raised. If you are looking for authentic you are at the right place for better or worse. Jason grew up on a big tobacco farm owned by his Papa who also owned a dance hall and radio station. Jason started playing drums at the dance hall and DJ-ing at the radio station when he was 5 and has been obsessed with music ever since. He had two choices – Farming or Music. He chose music. He has played over 10000 shows from a dance hall in V.A. to driving 4 hours round trip 6 nights a week for a Lido Inn house gig before moving to Nashville and playing every honky-tonk hoe-down juke-joint across the country before playing 12 hour shifts at Legends, Crossroads, and The Stage on Broadway. Now, Link is trying to get back to where he started – on the radio. Simply, the goal is to be able to get as many people as possible to hear his music and to have people feel touched in one way or another by his music so he can hopefully help some people like music has helped him.

Greg Hall

“Probably the best guitar player in comedy. Or the best comedian in guitar-playing” ~ The Tennessean

Greg Hall, guitar in hand, delights audiences nationwide with his songwriting, and humorous observations of life in America.

Based in Nashville, Greg headlines comedy clubs around the country. His entertainment career began in Texas as a singer/songwriter after winning a prestigious Kennedy Center award for ‘Outstanding Achievement in Musical Composition’. The next decade took him on a musical journey through thirty states, and Europe. He released five CD’s along the way, and shared stages with Shelby Lynne, Vern Gosdin, Jerry Jeff Walker, Eric Johnson, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Keith Urban, Dan Seals, and others.

A near fatal car wreck took Greg out of the game for a while. Determined to get back on stage, he entered the realm of stand up comedy. Always a quick wit, he took his stage experience, songwriting chops and musicianship, and fast tracked into touring comedy clubs around the nation. Now, as a headliner, Greg spends at least twenty weeks a year performing in top comedy clubs.

Greg observes life’s mishaps with a twinkle in his eye, and hope. The result is an achingly fun, comedic musical journey sharing his hard-won, slightly skewed wisdom.

Jason Lee Wilson

Scots-Irish, German, Swiss, Italian, and Cherokee…no one is more American in spirit, word or pedigree. Jason is a balladeer from the Southern highlands of North America who sings what he knows; he has stayed true to his roots, and has penned many songs romanticizing the history and tradition of his own life.

He could be described as traditional country meets folklore meets high energy rockabilly.
