After nationwide voting, the Voices of Lee finished as second runner up in the Sing-Off. They were also voted one of the favorite groups by the Contemporary A Cappella Society of America. Robert Burgeis

Robert Burgeis is one of Nashville’s few piano playing, guitar picking artists who is also a seasoned songwriter and producer. With his diverse talent and love for country music, he has been dubbed as ‘The Rednek RokStar’.

Burgeis’s smooth voice, peppered with just enough twang and partnered with his masterful yet edgy guitar playing and tantalizing ivory tinkling, is what makes this ‘country-rocker’ one of the finest entertainers of his day.

Runaway Home

runawayhome_2016 The band, Runaway Home, is a “homecoming” of sorts. It was founded by three powerhouse singers looking for a road back to the music they grew up on and loved!

Their sound is strong three part harmony over lyrics that matter, wrapped in an acoustic style reminiscent of ‘70’s era radio.

You might call them Retro-Commercial-Americana.

Dave Pahanish

Dave Pahanish has managed to come virtually out of nowhere to become an increasingly in-demand writer for the top stars of country music.

After scoring cuts on Jimmy Wayne’s ” Do You Believe Me Now” album, Dave and his production co-writer Joe West scored the title track to Toby Keith’s American Ride album. Many other artists are now clamoring for his songs including Tim McGraw and Keith Urban who recorded “Without You”.

Nolan Neal

nolannealsealsBigger than life, captivating energy and boundless talent are just a few ways you’ll hear people describe Nolan Neal. While many know Nolan as a contestant on the hit NBC series The Voice, the Nashville-based artist is an accomplished singer, songwriter, musician and producer who was literally born into music. The son of a professional drummer and a mother who made her living as a singer, Nolan’s career started by playing the clubs in and around Nashville and as a street performer playing for tips in his guitar case.

After a producer heard him play, Nolan headed west to a record deal with Hollywood Records in 2000. During the next few years Nolan was touring and writing with the bands Tonic, Saliva and Shine Down, among others. In 2006 he signed with Virgin Records and continued touring and writing. After his stint with Hinder in 2014 as the multi-Platinum group’s lead singer, Nolan decided to explore his music and passions as an independent artist and is preparing to release his third independent project.

MUSIC ON THE MOUNTAIN @ The Smoke House

Friday, December 30th ~ 6:30pm – 10:30pm

The Uprights

Sounds of rockabilly, roots-country, and a bucketful of blues, poured out of a trio of  hollow body strings and trap-set. Mabus Jackson lays the true bass path and harmonizes, Peter Keeble drives on the drums, and guitar man Willis hollers, wrings out blue notes, and tries to keep between the lines.

Slung together by a common musical attitude, The Uprights carry on the long history of American and Southern musical blending, and innovating from the roots up.
